Summary
The IT Manager oversees IT staff job performance and fosters employee success within the IT department through the design, development, and implementation of training and engagement programs. The role promotes the department's philosophy and culture through events, trainings, and activities that nurture our internal talent. These programs will motivate and engage employees for continued skills growth in key areas to meet Tulane University's delivery and operational support needs. A core component of this role is to identify skill gaps between current employees and the IT Departments long-term talent strategy while offering solutions to overcome any knowledge deficiencies.

Required Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma/Equivalent and a minimum of seven years' experience in technical professional development
OR

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years' experience in technical professional development
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in IT (Information Technology) recruiting and technical skills development

5 years of experience in a technical staff development capacity
