IT Services Manager
IT Services Manager: Christ Episcopal School (CES), serving students from preschool through grade 8, is seeking an IT Services Manager beginning July 1, 2017. The ideal candidate would be responsible for administering the school’s IT network, systems and databases onsite and in The Cloud; providing technical and user support to faculty and staff; assisting with off-hour emergencies and time-sensitive issues; maintaining a help-desk system; configuring, troubleshooting and supporting use of IT equipment; tracking software, hardware and licensing inventory; building appropriate rapport and positive working relationships with school personnel; serving as the primary point of contact between the school and outside IT vendors.
Requirements of a successful candidate for IT Services Manager at CES:
- Extensive knowledge of Windows and Chrome OS
- Thorough knowledge of G Suite for Education domain administration
- Good working knowledge of Chromebooks and the Chrome Device Management System
- Knowledge and experience with Active Directory User Management and current MS Office products deployment, administration and troubleshooting
- Broad knowledge and experience of computer software/hardware, network operations, telecom systems and emerging technology trends
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and understanding of user problems
- Experience working in an academic environment highly desirable
- A+, Network+ and G Suite for Education certifications highly desirable
- A desire to work as part of a team
- Good time-management skills
- Initiative and creativity
- A high level of energy
Experience with the following would be desirable:
- Blackbaud's hosted environment for Education Edge and Raiser’s Edge
- Procare Child Management software
- Sage accounting software
