POSITION SUMMARY: |
The Systems Programmer serves as a member of two teams: the School of Medicine and Public Health Information Technology (SMPH IT) team and the Biomedical Informatics Core (BMI) of the Institute of Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) team. S/he will provide planning and development for -- and implementation, delivery, programming, support, and ongoing maintenance of -- research support systems and infrastructure (software, data communications and utilities), within SMPH, and in partnership with UW Health and UW-Madison, to advance the overall mission of the Institute. Additionally, s/he will serve as the technical point of contact/IT program manager for the All of Us Research Program at UW and the Greater Plains Collaborative, a clinical data research network. This position works under the direction of the ICTR Director of Biomedical Informatics/Chief Research Information Officer and in close collaboration with the Administrative Director for the Clinical and Health Informatics Institute within BMI.
