The IT Support Technician reports to the Director of Technology and assists in supporting technology systems across the school. This is a seasonal, part-time position, 20-30 hours per week from mid-June to early September. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Help desk - responding to support calls, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, and peripherals.

  • Providing support for general technology operations 

  • Assisting in the preparation of all devices, classrooms and systems for successful opening of each school year

  • Management and organization of technology equipment, cables, accessories, components, and consumables

  • Perform preventative maintenance on variety of equipment including but not limited to computer hardware, printers, peripherals, A/V equipment, and other devices

  • Assignments and projects as needed and designated by Director of Technology

Required Skills/Knowledge 

  • Mac OS/Windows 10

  • Very strong motivation to learn and solve problems 

  • Ability to work independently

  • Solid communication skills
