IT Systems Manager

Charlotte Country Day School is looking for a senior level technologist to fill their IT Systems Manager position.

The Information Systems manager supports the planning and implementation of technology and related functions at the school. This includes both administrative and academic areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Oversees and participates in day-to-day operations in technology.
Plans and implements technology in all areas of the school.
Maintains and supervises the maintenance of the school’s varied servers, including mail server, spam filter, data servers, library server, firewall devices, backup devices.
Maintains and supervises the maintenance of the school’s administrative networks including administrative software, bookstore and cafeteria automation software.
Supervises network infrastructure operations, including switching and wireless components.
Maintains and supervises the maintenance of school phone system.
Responsible for data security, backups and recovery if necessary.
Responsible for general network security and regulatory compliance.
Responsible for assembling and updating IS documentation.
Plans, implements and maintains the school’s network infrastructure.
Engages outside technology consultants as necessary.
Manages the Information Systems budget.
Experience managing a staff as well as largescale projects is necessary.
