IT Tech Support Specialist

Montrose School is seeking a proficient, energetic and adaptable IT Support Specialist for the 2020-2021 school year. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for solving computer issues, both hardware and software, at Montrose School necessary to provide a safe, reliable and efficient environment to support teaching and learning. Primary responsibilities include:

Support teachers and students in daily use of laptops, chromebooks, webcams, and classroom audio/visual equipment

Support academic applications including but not limited to Google, Chrome, Canvas LMS, Adobe, AP Language testing

Work with teachers and administrators to understand technical roadblocks

Work with Academic Technology Specialist to refurbish and refine existing hardware

Work with outside vendors related to technology needs
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree; experience with school-based technology a plus. Ability to resolve issues as needed in a timely fashion, and ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff and students a must. This is a part-time job.
