Position Duties

The position will be in the Education Specialties Department’s Educational Technology Program. Responsibilities include teaching 4 courses per semester. These may include supervising students completing the internship experience. These will include some blended and/or fully online courses. Duties will also include advising program students, attending meetings, participating in committee work, and developing college/community initiatives and partnerships.

Required Qualifications

Applicants will have a master’s degree, doctoral degree preferred, in the educational technology or related field, a strong record of teaching, experience teaching online and blended courses, instructional design, experience in K-12 educational technology initiatives, and a demonstrated commitment to serving diverse and urban student needs.
Also required is experience in one or more of the following areas: online education, multimedia design in the classroom, student-centered learning, digital communication, universal design for learning, integration of technology into the K-12 curriculum.
