Lower School Technology Integrator & WonderLab Facilitator
We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Technology Integrator and WonderLab Facilitator to join our school community. This position combines hands-on technology instruction with collaborative curriculum integration, fostering creative problem-solving and digital literacy skills in students aged PK4 through 5th grade.
Primary Responsibilities

Design and teach engaging technology and makerspace classes that develop age-appropriate digital skills and maker mindsets

Create and maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring makerspace environment

Develop project-based learning experiences that encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking

Document Assess and document student progress in technology skills and maker activities
Curriculum Integration

Partner with classroom teachers to integrate technology meaningfully into their existing curriculum

Co-plan and co-teach lessons that enhance core subject areas through technology

Support teachers in identifying and implementing appropriate digital tools and resources

Collaborate with the Director of Educational Technology to plan and lead professional development and coaching to faculty on educational technology integration

Maintain and manage WonderLab equipment, tools, and supplies

Stay current with educational technology trends and maker education best practices

Evaluate and recommend technology tools and resources for classroom use

Maintain documentation of curriculum implementation, including projects completed, technology skills taught, and integration strategies used
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Education, or related field

Demonstrated experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students

Demonstrated experience with maker education and/or technology integration

Strong understanding of age-appropriate technology skills and maker activities

Experience with common educational technology tools and platforms

Commitment to equity and justice, including knowledge and skills related to cultural competencies

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Educational Technology, Education, or related field

Experience managing a makerspace or similar learning environment
-
Experience working in an educational or innovation-focused environment, with a strong understanding of design thinking, project-based learning, and STEM education principles.
