Manager of Database Services
This full-time position provides data support to the development and alumni efforts of the School. Reporting to the Director of Development, the database manager is responsible for all aspects of Development’s data operations, including oversight and maintenance of the Raiser’s Edge database, management of the gift entry and acknowledgment process, and ensuring overall data integrity
Responsibilities:
Managing gift processing, ensuring that gifts are entered accurately in order to maintain the integrity of the database and the execution of a timely, correct acknowledgment process.
Creating, executing, and updating reports to support Development Operations.
Handling complex data requests, while assisting colleagues with basic queries, exports, and mailings.
Managing regular financial reconciliation with the Business Office
Serving as Raiser’s Edge point-person for the Development team, providing training and technical support to colleagues.
Managing annual reporting including the Annual Report of Donors and School Directory. May participate as necessary in providing data for the School’s member associations.
Required Skills:
Advanced understanding of relational databases. Candidates with Raiser’s Edge experiences are preferred.
Understanding of fundraising concepts; familiarity with educational institutions a plus.
