Lead the Systems and security team. Strategize, analyze and fund the development, implementation and training of best practices, policies, procedures and operational efficiencies related to the maintenance, use and security of University Data managed in Steinhardt Systems. Specific functions include development and maintenance of a academic and administrative systems and data,product management initiative, data integration with University enterprise applications and third party vendors, management of budget and contracts, vendor review and selection, staff administration, end-user application training and security, communications with peers and colleagues at all levels internal and external to the University, managing data to business continuity with all unit ITS business partners. Responsible for the management of three (3) full-time employees and several students.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Certificate or Master's degree in training in information services.

Required Experience:
Min 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience managing software applications, business process development, and presenting training programs to a large, diverse constituency.

Preferred Experience:
Higher education experience preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
High functioning knowledge and experience with higher education fundraising, application security, research and forecast business needs. Ability to manage money, vendors and contracts. Ability to manage and develop staff in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills. Demonstrated written ability.
