Maricopa Community Colleges is undergoing a review of all staff positions and titles, known as a classification and compensation study. This project has been ongoing for quite some time and is coming to a conclusion in the coming months. It is possible that the position you are being hired for could have an official title change as a result of this review. This review does not impact your job duties, who you report to, and has no impact on starting salary. You will receive notice of any change within a few weeks after hire but no later than the end of 1st quarter 2018. |

Job Summary
|
|
Manages the operation of college computer and networking systems and services including both administrative and instructional applications, including local area networks, storage area networks, systems administration, database administration and IP based telecommunications. |
|
Essential Functions
|
|
30% - Configures, monitors, and maintains network hardware and software to provide connectivity for computers, servers, printers, telephones, copiers, and fax machines for students, faculty, and staff; this includes both wired and wireless access, and multiple vendors' equipment and software |
|
Minimum Qualifications
|
|
1. A bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related work experience or six (6) years experience managing and coordinating the operations of enterprise networking systems |
|
Desired Qualifications
|
|
1. Five (5) or more years of experience with setting up enterprise level Local Area Network, storage networks, and wireless networks |
|
Special Working Conditions
|
|
May be required to lift up to 50 lbs and crawl through small areas. |
