Job Description Summary

Provide direction, support, and oversight for all technology infrastructure within the College of Law, including systems, networks and telecommunications

Specific Duties

Provide strategic and operational leadership oversight and direction for all aspects of the technology infrastructure support functions, project management oversight for all major system upgrades, migrations and implementations, network management and telecommunications management. Liaison with CIO on main campus.

Manage direct and provide technical support of instruction including Blackboard, TWEN, A/V systems, and general office technology. Direct individual and group instruction including training faculty, staff and student employees. Installation, configuration, monitor and tuning the operating systems to ensure peak operation and access to the systems, software and telecommunications equipment. Ensure safety and security of systems assets and protect systems from inappropriate access or destruction.

Diagnose and repair computing equipment and peripherals and maintain hardware inventory and records of all services performed. Coordinate work orders with the main campus Help Desk.

Administration and Marketing support to include development and implementation of policies. Liaison with Dean of College (regular meetings, reports, system status, unit strategic planning).

Other technology-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a in related field
CompTIA A+
MCSE
5 years experience in Computer/Systems Operations Management
2 years experience in Network/Telecomm Support Management
3 years experience in Project Management
