The marketing and communications specialist provides leadership and project management for the Advancement Team and their strategic goals. Working closely with the Admissions Counselor and Development Officer, this position forms and ensures a cohesive marketing communication plan of advertisements, social media, website, press releases, direct mail, and collateral materials which grow enrollment and meet fundraising goals. Collaborating with faculty, staff, families and alumni, the position tells the story of EMS through strong writing, editing, and communication skills, and ensures that strong brand positioning and messaging which support the school’s mission are evident. The marketing and communication specialist engages volunteers and professional partnerships to support programs which advance the school. A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or related field are required and a minimum of five years of experience in marketing communications, admissions, and/or development are preferred
