We are seeking a Middle School teacher primarily for Grade 8 Mathematics, starting in September, 2018. The ability to teach Information Technology and provide support is also required.

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics

  • Certified or eligible to teach in British Columbia

  • Substantial experience as a Mathematics teacher, specifically in the middle years

  • Experience teaching and/or supporting Information Technology

  • Understanding of creative and innovative teaching strategies particularly inquiry and project-based learning approaches

  • Experience and aptitude in integrating technology into the learning experience

  • Understanding of and experience with differentiated instruction and assessment for learning

  • Willingness to participate in the extra-curricular activities of the school
