Middle School Math and Technology Teacher

Missoula International School (MIS) seeks a MATH and TECHNOLOGY TEACHER. MIS is looking for dedicated, experienced teacher for its Middle School (grades 6-8) program.

The Missoula International School is a nonprofit, independent school in Missoula, Montana offering a unique educational opportunity for children from preschool to eighth grade. MIS is an IB World School, authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the Primary Years Program (PYP) and in the initial phase of offering the IB Middle Years Program. MIS provides this international curriculum primarily in a Spanish immersion setting through fifth grade. Spanish continues to be an important additional language for middle school students, however most content is taught in English in middle school.

Beyond the classroom middle school students are involved in a variety of experiential learning opportunities.

Set in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Missoula is a vibrant university town, with abundant cultural and recreational activities close by.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field or three to five years related experience required. Previous experience teaching within the IB curricular framework is desired. Strong organizational and writing skills are required.
