Middle School Technology Coordinator

St. Mary’s School is seeking an experienced Middle School Technology Coordinator beginning in August 2016.

Under the direction of the Head of Middle School and the Director of Technology, the Middle School Technology Coordinator will assist faculty, staff and other stakeholders in enhancing learning through improved integration of technology.

The Middle School Technology Coordinator will also instruct Middle School Design classes in accordance with International Baccalaureate standards through a mixture of online, blended, and face to face instruction. In addition, the Middle School Technology Coordinator will work in coordination with the Chair of Academic Technology to ensure consistency in the Design Curriculum from the Early Education Program to Grade 8.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in information technology, educational technology, computer science or a related field. A minimum of three years of technology integration or teaching experience in an educational setting is required. Experience must include: instructional design; successful use of effective technology training strategies in teaching software and hardware skills; the use of Learning Management System and project-based learning processes. Successful candidates will have clear goals and strategies for integrating technology into instruction.
