MS Technology Coordinator
We seek Middle School Technology Coordinator to work with faculty to integrate effective technology in support of student learning. The Technology Coordinator will develop and present initiatives and workshops to increase the faculty’s confidence with available technologies and methods of integration. She or he will teach technology classes in the middle school, work alongside teachers in their classrooms to support their initiatives, research emerging solutions, identify professional development opportunities, and serve as an ambassador for best teaching practices using innovative technology. Candidates should possess a B.A. or B.S. and have experience both as a teacher and as a technology leader in schools. Ability to teach programming, robotics, 2D and 3D design; experience with a variety of communication, publishing, and “maker” tools; and fluency in PC, Mac, and Android platforms will be highly desirable. Candidates should possess exceptional collaborative and communications skills and be blessed with a large measure of patience and good humor.
