Network Administrator
Westminster School is seeking to add a qualified Information Technology professional to a busy Technology department. This position requires a broad set of skills in order to provide support to the entire school community and assist the department Director and Assistant Director in the day-to-day operation of the school. It is important that the qualified candidate have a philosophy of service, as well as substantive experience in and a demonstrated skill-set for Information Technology.
Qualified candidates will also possess the following skills:

Familiarity with networking and ability to troubleshoot WiFi and network issues; including but not limited to Internet routers, firewalls, network switches, network servers, wireless access points, and telecommunications cabling.

Familiarity with VMWare or related virtualization software.

Familiarity with Apple and Windows operating systems and software.

Maintain network services including but not limited to Active Directory, PaperCut Print Services, web services, backup solutions, virtualization, and VOIP solutions.

Familiarity with Google and Microsoft platforms and ability to perform desktop support.

Strong customer service skills and experience with remote support environments
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field, and 5 years of experience working in a technology related position is preferred. This staff position is a full-time 12-month hourly opening with benefits.
