Germantown Academy, a coeducational PreK-12 independent school with 1,100 students in Fort Washington, PA (suburban Philadelphia), seeks a part-time, experienced, Help Desk Support professional to start in July 2016. This is a one year position, and salary range is highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Qualified applicants will meet the following criteria:
 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist faculty, staff and students on a variety of hardware and software issues
  • Identify, research and resolve technical problems
  • Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
  • Document, track and monitor technical issues to ensure a timely resolution
  • Complete help desk tickets as assigned
  • Answer help desk phone calls
  • Image computers
  • Setup and support A/V Equipment for events
  • Data entry as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree in related field
  • Two years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Some physical work required such as moving hardware
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs
