Part Time Technology Instructor

Description

Teach technology concepts and skills to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students part-time in a computer lab setting. Develop integrated lesson plans using current hardware, software, and applications. Provide technology support for middle school teachers and work on special technology related projects. Coach the First Lego league Robotics Team and participate in local competitions.

Qualifications

1.Education: Bachelor’s Degree

2. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

3. Experience/knowledge of technology, computers, education

4. Effective communicator, both written and verbal

5. Value education and enjoy working with students

6. Adept with Microsoft Office 2013, graphic design, digital video, and programming concepts

7. Competent with cloud based applications, file management, and collaboration

8. Comfortable with Windows 7 and 8 as well as Mac operating systems

9. Self-motivated with the ability to learn and incorporate new applications
