Part-Time Technology Integration and Support Specialist
The Technology Integration and Support Specialist is a new part-time position at St. Martin’s with the possibility of developing into a full-time role over time. The successful candidate will be responsible for the hardware and software maintenance of technology for the entire school as well as be able to partner with outside IT groups when necessary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting teachers and students with teaching and learning with technology in the classroom. In addition, the Technology Integration and Support Specialist should also be prepared to facilitate new learning experiences within the school’s new Innovation Lab which will include opportunities for students to learn programming, robotics, and engineering (to begin in Fall 2015).
The successful candidate will be able to clearly communicate technical solutions in a user friendly, professional manner, and provide training when needed. He or she will be comfortable supporting productivity tools and educational applications in current versions of Windows, Apple OSX, and iOS and have some experience providing hardware support for PC’s and iPads. Experience working with elementary through middle school children is preferred. The school seeks candidates who are skilled, creative, innovative, and adept at employing technology in the classroom.
