Primary School (k-5) Technology Integrator
Schedule: Full Time (40 Hours), 12 month position
Start Date: Summer 2015
Reporting: Director of Digital Learning
The Lycée Français is committed to designing a learning environment that encourages 21st century skill development, harnesses technology to enrich the learning experience and equip all students to thrive in a STEM intensive world. The Primary School Technology Integrator works with Pre-K through 5th grade teaching, provides front-line tech support, co-teaches and collaborates with teachers to integrate technology and leads faculty and staff training.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Co-teach classes in the Primary School, as the academic schedule demands.
Design, coordinate and provide educational technology professional development opportunities for students, faculty and staff, including orientation training for new and returning faculty during the last two-weeks of August.
Lead a group of faculty members who are leaders in technology integration through the "technology ambassador program".
Contribute to an environment that encourages creative and independent use of educational technology throughout the school.
Model effective uses of current and new instructional technology inside and outside the classroom for teachers and students.
Contribute to the design of computer science and technology integration curricula.
Instruct users in the appropriate uses of technology in an educational environment.
Teach technology related after school club(s) (for extra compensation).
Provide input regarding school-wide and primary-wide technology initiatives, policies and pilot programs.
Provide Level I end-user technical support to both faculty and students on a wide variety of issues including printing, connecting to the network and password resets.

Familiarity with the French Curriculum
Masters in Educational Technology or related field
Familiarity with:
iOS, OSX, Windows and mainstream applications (MS Office, Adobe CS, etc)
Web Tools
Google Apps for Education
Using iPads and laptops in the classroom
Interactive Whiteboards (SMART)
Filmmaking and video editing
Fabrication: 3D Printing and Makerspaces
