Program Manager, IT Management
The University of Wisconsin Extended Campus is currently seeking a Program Manager for the Master’s degrees in Information Technology Management program in our UW collaborative degree model. Through our collaborative model, the University of Wisconsin Extended Campus administers a number of interdisciplinary programs that combine curriculum, faculty, and academic support services at multiple campuses. Each collaborative program has a Program Manager who is the primary contact with the partner campuses. Each program is also supported through marketing, instructional design, media, and student services.
The Program Manager will work in concert with campus academic leads, faculty and other campus support staff at collaborating UW institutions to provide administrative oversight and direction to assigned fully online programs and to other subject-related offerings. The Program Manager serves as a liaison to these campuses to establish systems, policies, procedures, and business practices that support collaboration and their effective operation. The Program Manager will also collaborate with internal team members in the development of marketing, recruitment, student services, and online courses that deliver curriculum and services consistent with the collaboration/authorization agreement, service objectives, partner needs, and operational goals of these programs.
The program manager will oversee fully online collaborative offering(s) to include the following:
- Master of Science in Information Technology Management – The online M.S. in Information Technology Management program represents a fully online fixed curriculum consisting of 37 credits – 12 three-credit courses and a one-credit capstone preparation course. UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout and UW-Superior will offer the program jointly. The program represents a multidisciplinary curriculum that balances real-world applications and practices relevant to the current field and draws primarily from business, information systems, information technology, cybersecurity, data science, communications and project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises and monitors of all program functions, activities and outcomes to assigned subject area degree program(s).

Develops and implements annual program goals/business objectives and associated timelines

Collaborates with administrative personnel at the campuses to develop and maintain systems that align Extended Campus program efforts with campus processes for admissions, transfers, degree and credit review, registration, and course scheduling.

Reports routinely on program performance metrics in areas including, but not limited to, marketing, registration, recruitment (enrollment numbers), curriculum, instruction, academic supports, student services, student success, registration statistics, and budget snapshots.

Develops, implements and monitors program growth strategies and effectiveness of marketing and recruitment strategies

Identifies opportunities for program and service improvement and leads development of new subject area programs from concept through implementation and integration into the program array.

Builds strong, collaborative, interpersonal relationships and provide regular communication with program stakeholders to include CEOEL staff, designated partners and students.

Monitors program budgets and ensure that expense limits are not exceeded and revenue targets are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in related field
-
Subject matter expertise in the program content area

3-5 years’ experience in project or program management

Ability to travel up to 20%, mainly in Wisconsin

Program management experience in higher education or other educational services setting
