Registrar & Student Information Systems Manager

Island Pacific Academy is seeking detailed oriented candidate that will contribute positively to a student-focused learning environment.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
--Reporting to the Secondary Principal, the Registrar & Student Information Systems Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the student, faculty and staff records including demographic information, course information, grades, transcripts and other information tracking at Island Pacific Academy
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Registrar Responsibilities
--Manage New Student Schedules & Registration
--Manage Staff and Faculty Registration
--Manage and update online course information including request information, Course Guides, Book List, and Supply List
--Update, maintain and verify student information including progress reports, report cards, transcripts, and GPA’s for Awards and Societies
--Manage all transcript related activities including transcript requests, uploading official transcripts to portals for active and incoming students
--Review all incoming and outgoing records to ensure all documents are present and ensure graduation requirements will be met. Ensure all incoming and outgoing record requirements are met and manage all record request as needed
--Work with event organizers to create individualized schedules for Back to School Night, and registration information for New Student Orientation and 1st Day of School
--Manage Parent/Teacher Conference Scheduling
--Manage and update calendars including Lunch Duty Calendar and Letter Day Calendar
--Manage Book Buyback
Information Systems Responsibilities:
--Manage Admin+, Notify, PlusPortals, Gradebook, Online Forms and Master Scheduler
--Set up new user accounts for various information systems
--Train teachers, students, parents and Admin users on various information systems
--Create and track online forms
--Write and generate reports using Admin+ including report cards, progress reports, attendance etc
--Run periodic syncs in Notify system
--Additional Duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
--This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
--Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related field
--Minimum 3 years of experience working in educational technology
--High level of proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft Office software
--Strong organizational skills
--Strong attention to detail
--Display competency with administrative and instructional applications of technology
--Ability to use multi-media equipment and applications, basic software applications and common operating systems.
--Possess the ability to implement new technologies.
