Registrar Technology Specialist
The Registrar Technology Specialist is responsible for technical applications in the office including updating the National Student Clearinghouse database and submissions, reviewing NSLDS data and submissions, updating the Registrar’s home page; creating digital online videos and tutorials; creating and monitoring workflow processes; running Registrar-related reports; updating Degree Works data, as needed; assessing the functionalities and maintenance of the department’s computers and printers; providing technical assistance to the staff as needed; assisting the Registrar/Assoc. Registrar with graduation; providing technical support for online processes; and overseeing institutional service technology initiatives.
Providing technical support for commencement and graduation clearance; monitoring the online application process and degree works updates. Reviewing the current degree review process, making recommendations and creating/producing reports that will help streamline graduation preparation. Working closely with the Registrar and Associate Registrar in all areas related to commencement
Coordinates with ITS to ensure that web development initiatives are consistent with and supportive of the overall technology strategy for the office and maintaining continuous quality improvement. Managing the daily operations of the Registrar’s Office related to technology applications such as Banner Student Module, Degree Works, ARGOS reporting, and other products as needed.
Providing leaderships to the Registrar Office team. Supervising student employees and serving as a member of the office management team.
Responsible for the bi-weekly submission of enrollment and degree reports to outside agencies. (Clearinghouse, Bundy report, NSLDS). Resolving any technical issues associated with NSLDS reporting
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Required

Minimum 1 year experience working with technology in college setting required

Must have familiarity with federal privacy laws associated with the management of student academic records and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act).
