Robotics and Media Arts

The Design and Technology teacher will be part of the Visual Arts and Design Technology Department (VADT) and will develop innovative courses around digital and emerging technologies. This teacher will have a strong understanding of varied coding languages and robotic platforms. Familiarity with the AP Computer Science Programs is expected.

Requirements:

• Degree in media arts, computer science or engineering is preferable;

• Minimum of 5 years experience as classroom teacher;

• Understanding by Design expert preferably with trainer experience. Applicants with experience of criterion-referenced assessments, who have taught in a diverse multi-cultural setting, and with a willingness to sponsor after-school activities (in particular Robotics);

• Preferred: Experience in international school setting, expertise with ESOL students, experience with religious education;
