Robotics Technician
Under the supervision of the Head of Lower and Middle Schools and the Robotics Director, the incumbent supports and contributes to the growth and development of the Robotics curricular and co-curricular programs (Grade 3 – 8). This involves organizing equipment, coaching students and organizing competitions.
Responsibilities:

Organizes equipment, monitors inventories, and requests materials for the Lower and Middle School Robotics programs

Participates with faculty to ensure students can express their learning and creativity through robotics related activities

Assists with leading clubs, teams, and related classroom projects for Grades 3 – 8

Travels with teams to competitions
- elps organize the annual Robotics competition hosted by the School by sourcing external judges, training student volunteers, and supporting the student participants
The successful candidate will have:

Extensive knowledge of and experience with robotics platforms (VEX, VEX IQ, FLL and/or FRC)

Strong computer, programming skills and excellent knowledge of robotics structures and mechanisms

Good attention to detail

Demonstrates good problem-solving skills with a focus on creative resolutions

University degree in a related field or equivalent in education and experience

Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to accept new perspectives

Compassion, and a desire to cultivate courage and nurture connection
