Secondary STEAM Teacher

ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY is seeking a passionate and progressive STEAM educator to fill our current full-time opening at the Secondary level. Specifically, we are looking for an educator who could teach courses in Computer Science, or Design Technology. ISLAND PACIFIC ACADEMY seeks educators who are dynamic, collaborative instructors who are always willing to learn and grow professionally. We are looking for applicants who would be comfortable teaching at both the middle and high school level.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a STEAM related field
• Passionate about teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with an inquiry-based approach to teaching
• Advanced degree in Education, or a STEAM related field

Job Duties:

• Teach four STEAM courses and one advisory class.
