Sr Director, Instructional Design and New Media
The Instructional Design & New Media team in EdPlus at ASU provides instructional design and media development support for ASU Online and Continuing and Professional Education courses and programs, as well as a variety of special projects. Each year the 30-person team of Instructional Designers, Media Developers, Academic Technologists and others, work on 1,000+ course projects in 100+ fully online programs and designs and delivers approximately 70 workshops and webinars for university faculty. We are seeking a highly-motivated Sr Director, Instructional Design and New Media to join our high-performing team. This position provides leadership support through planning, leading and directing the Instructional Design & New Media unit and associated projects, initiatives and operations, including strategic planning, coordinating complex projects and implementation, overseeing operations/administration and the overall delivery of services. Bachelor's degree in a related field AND ten (10) years of related experience which includes five (5) years of management/supervisory experience; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. |

Our offices are located in ASU SkySong, a dynamic center for innovation - home to both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Visual acuity and manual dexterity associated with daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate verbally in English, read, write, see, and hear to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks. |
