System Specialist

Gerstell Academy seeks a self motivated individual to be part of its technology department as a Systems Specialist. The applicant should possess working knowledge of computer hardware and software, have strong written and verbal communication skills, have experience working with students, be a strong team player, be familiar with Apple iOS and PC based educational apps and knowledge of network protocols, and ports. (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, POP, IMAP, SMTP, FTP, etc.)Duties include Helpdesk technical support, server management support, school website support, faculty support, and other duties as assigned. Bachelor's Degree and experience with Student Information System (SIS) database management and learning management system (LMS) preferred. CompTIA A+ and/or other certifications desired.
