Teacher / Technology Integrator
Rundle College Junior Senior High is a university preparatory school for grades 7 to 12. The program follows the Alberta Education curriculum and is enriched at each level to provide challenge and rigor to support the post-secondary aspirations of our students.
Academic class size is capped at 14 students per class. Students choose between several complementary courses to complete their timetables and are provided outstanding opportunities to balance their classroom learning with extracurricular sports, fine arts, clubs and travel experiences. The culture of Rundle College focuses on developing character and citizenship through ample opportunities to become involved in volunteerism and leadership.
Position Description
The ideal candidate for this position will be an energetic, empathetic, tech-savvy individual with a growth mindset. Primary responsibilities include teaching a CTS program to senior high students through project based learning, and providing technology leadership for faculty and staff. Rundle College has a strong culture of extracurricular activities and all staff are expected to contribute meaningfully to the program.
This Technology Integrator contract starts in the 2017-2018 school year. Potential candidates must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate and be able to provide a current Police and Vulnerable Sector check.
