Technical Support Analyst
Reporting to the Team Lead, Tech Support, the candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of desktop and mobile technology and infrastructure as well as improvement of system performance and reliability at TFS.
Overall Position Description:
Technology Support is a critical function at TFS. This role interfaces with all stakeholders: Teachers, Principals, Parents, Staff and Children. This role is one of 4 for TFS and would support the West Campus.
General Job Duties:
• Provide 1st level technical support to a diverse group of users (faculty, students, parent and admin staff) in a mixed hardware/software environment (Windows/Mac, iOS)
• Maintenance of all hardware and software plus Inventory management.
• Troubleshooting/Repairing, and tracking of all hardware and software issues.
• In class technology assistance with the students.
• Basic administration and maintenance of the servers and network.
• Including joint ownership of the Open Directory and Deploy Studio servers.
• Responsible for AV Set-Up and Technical Assistance for teachers and staff
• Technical training in technology use for teachers, staff and students as required
• Technology Support uses a ticketing system to keep track of issues and to examine trends. This ticketing of issues must be done on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Characteristics:
● 3-5 years in a technical support role with at least 2-3 years in a MAC environment
● Working knowledge of IOS Administration
● Basic Active Directory user management
● Customer service skills
● Ability to multi-task and prioritize
● Ability to problem solve
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
● Teamwork
● Apple GSX current hardware certifications
