Parish Episcopal School is currently seeking a full-time Technical Support Specialist in the Information Technology Department.  Responsibilities will be performed on both our Hillcrest Campus (PK-2nd Grade) and Midway Campus (3rd-12th Grade).  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

 

 

 

QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS

 

  • Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems and productivity suites including Microsoft Office.

  • Basic understanding of servers, networks and cabling.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Perform hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Perform hardware repairs and cleaning.
  • Maintain all school iPads and iOS apps.
  • Manage printers and associated consumables.
  • Assist with servers, network operations, and data cabling.
  • Perform backup and restore of data when needed.
  • Assist with Microsoft Active Directory and account functions for all online services.
  • Create and deploy software packages via a patch management system.
  • Assist with helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Provide timely tech support on all computers, peripherals, accessories and phones
  • Communicate unresolved issues to other IT department members.
  • Provide audio visual setup and technical support for classrooms and special events.
  • Train faculty and staff on software and hardware use.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly IT meetings.
  • Supervise open computer labs and assist students with projects.

ParishSummer and Extend Coordinator

 

 

 

POSITION OBJECTIVESupports ParishEXTEND and ParishSummer via administrative support and parent and faculty customer service. 

 

 

 

QUALIFYING CHARACTERISTICS: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation and very strong computer skills. Two to four years of experience in similar or other teaching role required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task is essential. The ability to provide “Red Carpet Service” to all customers and employees is a must. A team player with strong interpersonal skills to productively and professionally communicate with the entire school community and wide variety of school constituents is essential. 

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

 

  • Act as administrative coordinator of all EXTEND programs, including registrations, rosters, and finances.  Make current lists available daily to after school and camp personnel.
  • Oversee after school activities and implement logistics as developed by Director of EXTEND.
  • Liaison with HR to contract with and ensure all individuals and vendors are cleared to teach, including Letters of Agreement with full payment/reimbursement details, background and Praesidium completion status monitoring.
  • Ensure all teachers are aware of school schedules and procedures and have badges/access.
  • Ensure all special requests by teachers for supplies, software, furnishings, etc. are arranged for classes and all supply amounts approved prior to pricing is approved.
  • Act as liaison to reserve space for programs.
  • Serve as UltraCamp administrative manager for EXTEND and ParishSummer registrations and finances.
  • Ensure participants are properly billed and pay for programming received.
  • Maintain EXTEND program calendar and Basecamp projects and task lists as team resource.
  • Maintain and keep updated the master list of programs each season for use by team.
  • Assess enrollment with team prior to start of sessions and ensure class cancellation decisions are able to be made and communicated on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic newsletters to families participating in programs.
  • Collaborate with team on website, social media and promotional materials as directed.
  • Provide and maintain class lists to teachers, staff and retain in shared accessible folders.  
  • In summer oversee registrations of walk in campers and Monday check-in.  Ensure all lists are up to date with camper changes during the week.
  • Work with parents on special reservation requests requiring administrative support.

ParishSummer and Extend Associate Director

 

 

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  Major responsibility of the position oversee summer and after school programs and assist in development of curriculum and programs for summer and after school programs.

Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of experience in similar position required.  Educational experience is preferred.  A team player with strong interpersonal skills to productively and professionally communicate with the entire school community and wide variety of school constituents is essential. 

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

 

AFTERSCHOOL

 

  • Oversee after school activities and implement logistics as developed by Director of EXTEND at one campus.
  • Collaborate on educational content of programming to ensure programming aligns with school goals and curriculum.
  • Oversee work of all teachers, contractors and staff to ensure Explorations programs are being carried out as planned.
  • Work with team on program website and presence.
  • Work with team on SEO, PPC, blogs, and all other online website enhancing opportunities.
  • Work with team on program presence on social media platforms.
  • Photography/videography of ParishEXTEND programs.
  • Responsible for all student discipline and behavioral matters after school.
  • Find substitutes when necessary for teacher absences. Cancel & reschedule classes as necessary.
  • Assist with curriculum for PreK Extension with Pre-K curriculum coordinator.
  • Create curriculum and activities for Extended Care and All Day In-service care days.  Oversee those days as needed.
  • Plan and carry out all special events to highlight our programs, such as recitals and theatre productions.
  • Assess enrollment with team prior to start of sessions and ensure class cancellation decisions are able to be made and communicated on a timely basis.
  • Actively work to improve infrastructure programs and processes to ensure smooth operations, safety and security of children, good communication and parent friendly interfaces.
  • Assist with training of all teachers, including adequate supervisory skills and Parish specific protocols. Carry out programming by developing and implementing adequate training and processes.

 

PARISHSUMMER

 

  • In summer act as “In Charge” while Director is off site, supervising campers, staff and faculty. While director is on site, oversee office, parent calls and requests and supply or other faculty needs.

Extended Day Program Teacher

 

Purpose:  Supervise and insure the safety and well-being of the children while providing a fun and nurturing environment. To always be alert to the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise children enrolled in extended day program
  • Interact with the children at all times; when students are present, attention must be focused on them—not on other adults or activities
  • Set boundaries and activities for each day
  • Oversee homework time, snack time, help with carpool and walk children to EXTEND classes
  • Clean up before leaving each day
  • Check to make sure that homework is done, and help children keep track of their belongings
  • Communicate daily with the ParishEXTEND Administrative Manager
  • Manage children’s behavior with firmness but understanding and make sure that ParishEXTEND Administrative Manager is aware of any discipline issues and document all issues in writing
  • Report in writing any injuries or illnesses to ParishEXTEND Administrative Manager.
  • Be familiar with all ParishEXTEND policies and procedures.

Bus Driver

 

Parish Episcopal School is looking for drivers who can work flexible hours to drive one of our two 25-passenger buses.  Transporting athletic teams and shuttling students to off campus events makes up the bulk of the driving needs.  Compensation is hourly based on experience level. 

 

  • 18 years or older
  •  Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  •  Pass a DOT Examination and drug screen
  •  Possess good communication skills and work well with children
  •  Must have a clean driving record and pass a criminal history check
  •  Class A or B commercial driver’s license
