Technology and Makerspace Teacher
Collegiate School is looking for a full-time technology instructor to run its Makerspace and Engineering and Design program in the Middle School. Candidates would ideally bring a fluency with current pedagogy and be adept at innovating, exploring new technologies, building curriculum, and engaging the community in all things tech. Experience with design thinking, programming, CAD, VR/AR, making and electronics is a must. A flexibility with and healthy curiosity for all programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Scratch is required. Candidates should be able to manage and utilize fabrication tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, cnc router, and table saws. Responsibilities also include running the Robotics club and offering Edtech support to faculty and students. At minimum, candidates should possess a BA, although an advanced degree is highly desirable.
