Technology Coordinator
San Diego Jewish Academy, a private college prep PK-12 school, seeks a full-time Technology Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Technology Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and facilitating the effective utilization of technology at SDJA.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Foster an environment of continued education in regard to effective use of technology, in and out of the classroom.
- Identify, implement and provide instruction with appropriate technology solutions to fulfill objectives, both curricular and non-curricular, in conjunction with staff and faculty members.
- Assist faculty, staff and students in the use of technology.
- Teach middle school students basic technological skills.
- Manage system data to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the database.
- Remain abreast of and recommend new technology solutions, specifically as it relates to the education industry.
- Provide assistance with the management of technology resources that are specific to a department, such as Raiser's Edge for Advancement.
- Create technology guides/resources, both paper-based and online, for the use of faculty, staff and students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate is a consummate professional that is passionate about technology, an excellent communicator, and manages their time expertly while meeting goals within time constraints. An excellent problem solver that is solution-based, organized, creative, and a reliable self-starter that enjoys working on a team but is equally comfortable working alone. ?A customer-service focus with a friendly demeanor will be crucial.
