Technology Coordinator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Technology Coordinator will oversee the technology school wide and provide support and vision for technology advancement for Seffner Christian Academy. The Technology Coordinator is expected to have a sound understanding of the mission of the school and maintain a wholesome Christian attitude in all dealings with students, parents, staff, faculty, and outside persons.
QUALIFICATIONS: The Technology Coordinator shall be one who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Technology Coordinator shall be a member in good standing of an evangelical church and shall lead a mature Christian life. He/she shall reflect the purpose of the school to honor Christ in every area and in every activity. The Technology Coordinator shall be one who has a clear understanding of the aims and objectives of Christian education and the philosophy and policies of Seffner Christian Academy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
SPIRITUAL
- Have a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ and seek to model Him in speech, actions, and attitude.
- Set an example of the importance of prayer, Scripture memorization and study, witnessing, and unity in Christian fellowship.
3. Implement "body life" principles as they relate to the spiritual well being of students, parents, and staff.
4. Follow the Matthew 18 principle in dealing with students, parents, administration, and staff.
5. Show support for the role of parents as primarily responsible before God for their child's education and assist them in the task.
6. Encourage students to accept God's gift of salvation and to grow in their faith.
7. Emphasize to students the reality of their self-worth in Christ.
TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR SERVICES
- Oversee management of iPads at Seffner Christian including but not limited to distribution of apps, textbooks and settings via the mobile device management program, rental iPad distribution, repair service through Apple for school managed iPads, annual iPad distribution and collection that involves hours outside of normal school hours.
- Oversee installation, purchasing, tracking, and licensure of educational technology, including but not limited to Elmo, Smartboards, AppleTVs, SmartTable, Reflector, and projectors as directed.
- Monitor and communicate issues with the contracted IT company, ACTS 360, for backend of access points and WIFI including but not limited to outages and connectivity issues.
- Filter and address tech and iPad help requests from students, teachers, and faculty.
- Assist in the development of the ACSI Technology Plan.
- Work closely with the Instructional and Technology Specialist to assure classroom technology, the learning management system, and curriculum initiatives function as directed.
- Remain current in technology and communicate trends and advances to administration.
- Teach 4th and 5th grade iPad Lab classes and secondary technology classes (as needed).
- Oversee and manage Google Apps for Education and Apple School Manager accounts.
- Oversee, implement and troubleshoot technology issues, upgrades, and development with computers, printers, cloud access etc while working with ACTS 360.
- Assist in any other technology needs as asked of by administration.
