Technology Coordinator
Barnhart School is seeking a full-time Technology Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our campus technology environment. S/he also functions as part of the elementary and middle school teams, assisting in planning an integrated student educational experience. The Technology Coordinator will work in conjunction with an outside Managed Service Provider (MSP) who will provide escalated support remotely and will serve as the primary contact for technology on campus. The Technology Coordinator is the first line of defense for all technology challenges, supporting the teachers and staff throughout the school day. In addition, the Technology Coordinator will serve as a resource for teachers in integrating technology in their teaching and lesson planning.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Three years of supporting technology on a school campus

Job Responsibilities:
One-stop-shop for all things technology on campus
Management of all campus devices (Laptops, Desktops, iMac Lab, iPads, Chromebooks)
Maintain and manage Google Apps Admin and accounts
Lead campus technology committee
Field requests from staff regarding technology problems (printing problems, can’t connect to internet, Google Drive...etc)
First line of defense for all technology items and challenges
Troubleshoot any hardware and software issues on campus and escalate to MSP as needed.
Primary contact with outside technology company (MSP)
Project management for all technology projects
Provide assistance to all classroom teachers on instructional technology, stepping into K-5 classrooms to help with instruction of technology to the students
Lead seminars and training sessions, both group and one-on-one with teachers to help implement technology in their classroom
Maintain and manage all SMARTboards on campus as well as train teachers on their classroom technology
Continue to implement Google Apps for Education and Google Classroom
Coordinate e-waste of old technology
Research and make recommendations to administration regarding technology best practices and upgrades, as needed.
Potentially teach Middle School technology exploratory classes
