The Greenwich Country Day School has an immediate opening for a Technology Department Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for all aspects of the Technology Department. This is a full-time, year-round position with a competitive compensation and benefit package.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide a warm welcome and assistance to all visitors to the Technology Department
- Provide accurate and timely communication, internally with students, faculty and staff, and externally with vendors and parents
- Provide phone coverage and respond to email inquiries within a 24-hour period
- Process department invoices and order supplies
- Trouble shoot basic tech issues with students and staff
- Work collaboratively with the Facilities Department to coordinate Technology needs for campus events
Qualifications:
- Strong computer and database skills
- Experience with FileMaker and Google Apps a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, see tasks through to completion, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Enthusiasm for interacting with adolescent students and faculty
- Professional, personable demeanor coupled with a sense of humor
