Technology Director (part-time)
The Academy of Saint Elizabeth, a private, Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women, seeks a part-time Technology Director for the 2019-20 school year. The ideal candidate can provide IT services for an educational institution, displays excellent leadership and communication skills, and works collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators.
Responsibilities and duties of the Technology Director include:

Providing office hours throughout the week to facilitate the use of technology in the school and troubleshoot any issues for the school’s staff, faculty, and students.

Providing on-call service throughout the week to address immediate technology needs of the school.

Serving as network administrator and supporting infrastructure including hardware, Internet connection, and software.

Coordinating and overseeing service calls to outside IT companies as needed to troubleshoot issues and upgrades.

Providing technical curriculum assistance regarding hardware usage, software applications, computer technology, and the general instructional use of technology in the classroom.

Registering staff/student devices on the network and managing all school email addresses as well as network security settings.

Managing print servers and SMART board devices.

Supporting the school and its leadership and performing other duties as assigned by the Principal and Assistant Principal.
Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate for this position is required. Experience in an educational institution is preferred, but not required.
