Technology Instructor

Responsible for teaching K-8 technology classes, which includes keyboarding skills, coding (currently Scratch, Java, HTML and Python), 3D printing, STEM initiatives, and G Suite in addition to collaborating with teachers on technology initiatives in the classroom featuring these items and providing help desk services for students and teachers. We are a 1:1 iPad school, using Lightspeed MDM and also use G Suite (Google Docs for Education). This position will also work with ensuring functionality of iPads, including MDM and repairs and also helping with G Suite initiatives and implementation in the classroom areas. Curriculum building is an ongoing process at TWS; as such, this position will be responsible for helping to identify trends in software, curriculum and teaching strategies in regards to technology. Attendance at staff and committee meetings is expected. BS in Instructional Technology or Education plus experience teaching coding desired.
