Technology Integration Coach
The Technology Integration Coach is a certificated teacher who supports the strategic implementation of instructional programs and provides staff development and coaching on integrating technology into instruction for literacy, mathematics and other content areas to improve and expand classroom-teaching strategies for all teachers. Under the direction of the Principal and in collaboration with the school’s staff, the Technology Integration Coach will:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide support to classroom teachers and site administrators in the full and skillful implementation of the sites’ goals for adopted curriculum programs and technology integration.

Provide on-site staff development for staff and students related to best practices for technology integration to support student learning in all subject areas, based on ISTE technology standards for staff and students. Train teachers in digital tools that focus on creation, exploration and interactive lessons.

Provide leadership in curriculum technology projects, digital citizenship, and site technology policies.

Model strategies and coach classroom teachers.

Serve as a resource in identifying, developing and/or disseminating effective instructional strategies and interventions to improve students’ achievement.

Assist with the selection and implementation of new instructional software applications.

Collaborate with District-wide Technology Resource Teachers, the District Technology Department and Staff Development Coaches to align curriculum and technology goals, and staff development plans.

Provide districtwide trainings as needed.

Facilitate technological trouble-shooting in partnership with the District Technology Department.
- Teach elective course for students on Tier-1 technology support.
Qualifications Required:

Credential: California Multiple Subject with added Authorization in the following subjects or Single Subject Credential in either of the following subjects: Industrial Technology, Business, Mathematics.

CLAD or BCLAD or equivalent required Minimum five years teaching experience
Qualification Preferred:
-
Experience in facilitating workshops, demonstrating lessons, coaching/mentoring, focusing on effective strategies for teaching English learners;

Experience in analyzing and using data to inform decisions related to classroom instruction;

Extensive leadership in staff development, coaching and technology integration.

Staff Development Permit preferred

Ability to provide leadership, self-initiate, communicates effectively orally and in writing, ability to work with new and experienced staff. Knowledge of up-to-date theories, techniques and methodologies related to curriculum, instruction, tech integration and staff development for teachers. Ability to encourage, coach and support teachers during the learning process.
