Candidates should have expertise in utilizing technology to enhance teaching and learning. Must possess an ability to develop and maintain positive and confidential relationships with colleagues, faculty and administrators. This work requires substantial interpersonal and high-level communication skills needed to work with faculty and staff one-on-one, in small groups, and in large group settings. Candidates should have demonstrated experience developing and delivering technical training, planing and prioritizing multiple projects, designing courses and training materials, and training employees. |

General Summary |
Provides leadership, consultation, and support for faculty development initiatives. Identifies education technology needs and provides multi-modal learning opportunities for faculty. Provides consultation and support services in instructional design, strategies, assessment, technology, and in the implementation and delivery of courses and curriculum college-wide. Works with faculty at all instructional locations to plan, develop, and implement learning opportunities that help students achieve success. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge about educational technology, curriculum, instruction, administration, and educational programming in order to understand instructional methods, curriculum development, etc. This knowledge is typically acquired through a combination of 3-5 years or more of experience with educational technology integration; designing, developing, and implementing curriculum; teaching at a secondary or post-secondary level; and completion of a Master’s Degree in instructional technology, teaching, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, or related area. |
