Technology Integrator

St. Benedict's Prep, an innovative urban prep school, seeks an energetic, dedicated, full-time technology integrator for grades 7-12 to begin in late July. Experience preferred.

The position requires:

Working with teachers (individuals and small groups) to achieve curricular and pedagogical goals related to technology
Helping teachers integrate technology into classroom lessons and providing feedback and support
Identifying, testing, and evaluating emerging academic technological tools
Assisting teachers with course websites and content
Training teachers and students in digital citizenship practices
The successful candidate has:

The ability to kindle enthusiasm among teachers for the potential of technology to improve teaching and learning
Appropriate training in the use and management of relevant educational technology
Classroom teaching experience
Faculty members are also expected to participate in another facet of school life, whether as a coach or activity moderator. We have a current need for a school newspaper advisor.

St. Benedict’s Prep is a 147-year-old, all-boys Catholic school with a rigorous academic program. The 560 students and 50 faculty members work together to build a community whose members are responsible to one another for developing character and talent.
