We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Technology Integrator/Teacher
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director of Student Life, work with faculty to integrate technology into the curriculum. Coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance the use of technology in the support of learning. Create a classroom environment that develops an awareness of and proficiency in technology.
· Work with faculty on the increased integration of technology in their curricula. Model effective uses of current and new instructional technology inside and outside the classroom for teachers and students.
· Provide input regarding school-wide and primary-wide technology initiatives, policies and pilot programs.
· Provide Level I end-user technical support to both faculty and students on a wide variety of issues including printing, connecting to the network, and password resets.
· Develop lesson plans and supplementary materials compatible with Gaynor’s instructional philosophy to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
· Other responsibilities commensurate with faculty and school requirements
Qualifications
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. · Experience with one or more of the following: 3D printing, Design thinking, Digital citizenship, Digital media, Game design, Maker projects, Media production, Programming, and/or Robotics
· Teaching certification preferred
· At least two years of relevant experience
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and parents
Salary: commensurate with experience
