Technology Manager

The Technology Manager at FASP will be responsible for the School website development and maintenance:

• Collaborate on the ongoing development and implementation of the school’s website, including consistent branding and messaging, ease of use, and depth of information.
• Manage the design, creation and maintenance of the School Website (currently built on Wordpress).

The candidate will also help with and provide support on the implementation of technology and the data management needs of the school (hardware & software):

• Coordinate the implementation/maintenance of the student information system and other school databases.
• Coordinate the accurate submission and extraction of data for school, state, and federal reporting.
• Perform all functions and procedures necessary to install and maintain all school technology systems (hardware, software and related peripherals)
• Assist with other technology support-related tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred.

• Excellent working knowledge of Windows XP, Win7 and Mac OS
• Knowledge of modern web technologies and languages
• Knowledge of hardware/device market both for desktop and mobile
• Knowledge of and interest in education technology space is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in writing and oral formats
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Pedagogical background and/or experience is preferred
