Technology Office Assistant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Technology Office Assistant should be skilled in Mac OSX Server Management (image capture and deployment), have a command of open-directory and windows server management, have strong organizational and communication skills, manage network print environment, and have experience overseeing enterprise class wireless system. Prior experience with Blackbaud is a plus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Adhere to all Brandon Hall Policies and Procedures
· Maintain continuous communication with their direct supervisor regarding the current needs of the school and concerns for future growth and usage of the system
· Aid in the maintenance of the physical upkeep of the technology infrastructure and all components including but not limited to servers, wires/fiber, laptops, desktops, and the phone system
· Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints in a confidential manner.
· Ability to apply principles of logic to a wide range of practical problems.
· Provide general supervision of the student population at all times while on campus.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Troubleshoot faculty, staff, and student hardware/software issues
- Maintain Windows and Macintosh file/directory servers
- Assist with STEAM projects (3D model/print, design thinking, project assistance)
- Model ISTE Standards in digital presentation and organization
- Write technical documentation
Skills:
- Operating Systems: Mac OS X, Windows
- Computer Software: Google Apps, Microsoft Office, CAD, Adobe CS
- Hardware technician (ACMT preferred)
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- Technical Writing and Presentation
- Customer Service
