Technology Specialist

Gig Harbor Academy is a private, independent school serving children in Preschool through 5th Grade. Gig Harbor Academy seeks an experienced, enthusiastic technology teacher who models creative and innovative uses of technology to engage Kindergarten to 5th Grade students. This is a part-time (2 days/week) position that entails working collaboratively with classroom teachers to plan and deliver technology integrated lessons that support technology across the curriculum. The prospective candidate will have an understanding of digital literacy and citizenship skills, along with the ability to present technology use as something purposeful, connected to student’s learning, and relevant to real-world situations.

Experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred.
