SALARY:   $23.54 minimum per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:   Provides technology recommendations, training, service/support and repair of computers, peripherals and multimedia equipment. Analyzes and resolves hardware, software, and network problems. Prepares documentation to assist users with their computer requirements.The successful candidate will support user hardware and software, application installations, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshoot technology. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:   1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
2. A+ Certification, Microsoft Certifications, Dell Support Certification desired
3. Experience with SCCM highly desired
4. Experience in administration, maintenance, and support of the current versions of MS Windows and Mac OSX operating systems required
5. Experience installing, maintaining, and using standard systems and software applications
6. Advanced troubleshooting experience with networking applications and desktop computing to include laptops, desktops, tablets, telephony, projectors, mobile devices and other technology assets
7. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments, respond quickly to changing business needs and priorities, manage expectations and communicate status updates
8. Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License
9. Ability to lift 25 lbs., twist, bend, and work in awkward positions
10. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
11. Enthusiasm and a dedication to delivering quality customer service standards
12. Ability to effectively work in a team environment and to work with minimal direct supervision

 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   1. Maintain District computers, terminals, printers, peripherals, multimedia and telecommunications equipment.
2. Travel to district facilities as required to support end users, facilitate training and maintenance of team assets/equipment.
3. Support end users on the Help Desk, by answering phones and/or acting upon service request tickets.
4. Analyze and resolve problems with district hardware, applications and technology peripherals.
5. Assists in maintaining assets, orders and inventories parts as necessary. Assists in maintaining shop facility, tools and district vehicles in a clean safe manner.
6. Research, resolve problems related to network connectivity. Implement new software releases. Install hardware, software and technology peripherals.
7. Trains personnel on hardware/software.
8. Assists in developing end user documentation. Maintains records related to repairs. Develops processes for hardware/software support.
9. Recommends the purchase of computer hardware, software, technical equipment and supplies.
10. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:   3 to 5 years of related experience
