Technology Support Specialist
We seek an energetic front line tech support person who would support our Middle School including 40 faculty, 300 students, and about 500 devices. This position is a tremendous opportunity to grow your people and technical skills; working with a diverse and complex community and fast changing technical demands. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a wide range of personalities and technology comfort levels. Applicants must be comfortable with Windows, Mac, iOS, Chromebooks.
Job duties may include:
- Assist faculty, students, and staff with on-demand tech support.
- Check out equipment to students and faculty and track use.
- Simple repair of broken equipment; triage for onsite laptop repair.
- Troubleshoot, sometimes on the fly during classes – computers, SMART boards, an array of audio/visual equipment
- Assist with projects that maintain and improve the IT network
- Assist with academic technology in classrooms and training as needed.
- Assist with A/V needs for events/presentations.
Year round employment with benefits; minimum 30 hours per week; flexible hours typically between 9am – 5pm, M-F, with occasional mandatory evenings to support events during the school year.
