The Abraham Joshua Heschel School has an opening for a 12 month full-time position as a Technology Support Specialist.

The Technology Support Specialist will:

●Provide help desk support for students, faculty, and staff

●Manage and maintain A/V setups in large performance spaces as well as other spaces

●Maintain and troubleshoot classroom A/V equipment (smartboards, projects, etc)

●Maintain JAMF Pro policy and enrollments

●Use and troubleshooting of performance equipment such as microphones, sound systems, and projectors

●Installation, troubleshooting of problems with computers, software, network, and peripheral equipment

●Gsuite support as needed

●Maintain repair certification from Apple and other vendors as needed

●Maintain equipment for loan (inventory, repair, distribution, and returns)

●Assist faculty with classroom activities that pertain to technology

●Lead and participate in technology training sessions

●Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:

●4-year college degree or equivalent work experience

●Prior experience in an educational setting

●Experience with JAMF Pro from JAMF

●Experience working on interactive projectors and SMART Notebook

●Apple Macintosh Repair Certification

●Patience and good interpersonal skills

●Facility and comfort working independently and collaboratively

●Ability to be flexible with weekly schedule on occasion, which may include working evenings and/or weekends
